Party officials stopped in Pierre this past week to visit the Republican caucuses.
Representative Kristi Noem today helped lead the U.S. House of Representatives in passing S.178, the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act – a sweeping bipartisan anti-trafficking bill that includes provisions Noem authored.
A group of 24 Spearfish High School students are planning a trip to Washington, D.C. in April to compete in the national "We the People" competition. These students, in Pat Gainey's Constitution class, won the state competition in January. On Monday, March 23, The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee contributed $1,000.00 to this project to help them in their endeavor to raise the necessary funds for the trip.
