The South Dakota Republican Party is saddened to announce the loss of one of our own this Thanksgiving.
Reports have come in that while on a family outing in the Cook Islands, State Representative Craig Tieszen apparently lost his life while attempting to save the life of his brother-in-law, who also lost his life in a kayaking incident.
In a statement issued today by Christopher Protsch, Communications Director for the South Dakota Republican Party, Protsch noted “This alleged party change was a complete surprise and after reviewing the source document from 12.9.16, Senator Soholt found her registration was inadvertently changed electronically.
“If South Dakota’s Democrats are losing membership, they have no one to blame but themselves,” Lederman said. And I suggest the wannabe Democrat politicians and liberal special interest groups find somewhere else to push their lies and smears.”
This evening, South Dakota Republican Party Chairman Dan Lederman announced the results of the South Dakota GOP’s Straw Poll held at the South Dakota State Fair, and was quite happy with the energy and strong interest that the poll drew among South Dakota’s Republican voters.
